HERE IS THE PUZZLE

Hello Everyone,

I was able to get my puzzle up sooner than expected. I really hope that you have fun with it. I cannot at this time say whether or not there will be a prize involved, but it may or may not be.

The answer needs to be put in after the ending back slash, / and before the .htm extention. Example: http://www.freewebs.com/gvcollegestuden ... gtondc.htm (where washingtondc would be where you will need to put your solution(s) at.

so here is the website http://www.freewebs.com/gvcollegestudent/
don't forget that the ending is .htm and not .html

Here is the puzzle have fun.

I occur once in every minute, twice in every moment, but not once in a thousand years.

I am eighteen, but sometimes nine. I begin to correct but also direct. I start actions, and I get many reactions.

8 26 13 23

14+3-3

26+0

2x3+2+2+1x3

To solve this, you have to dial into your inner code solver.
REALXLIVDC

Solve the seven puzzles and put your answer (in all lowercase) after the / sign in the following address http://www.freewebs.com/gvcollegestudent/(you answer goes here).htm

Your answer will be put in after the / sign and before the htm (make sure it is htm and NOT html) and use exact capitalizations for your answer(s)

combine all answers first to last. Use all lowercase. Also there is no need to PM, Email or Post your answers.... Like Digitizer said... you will no when you have the right answer.

Good Luck,

*This post was edited to change the following things, so that there is no mis-repersentation of the clue(s) changed minuet to minute changed five pieces of the puzzle to, seven pieces of the puzzle, and changed inter to inner* good luck everyone..

Also, for future refrence, the spelling and or grammar of these clues may or may not be intentional, please use your best judgement.

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

Thanks for posting this Game.

This is an excellent puzzle. I've been working on it for a while now.

If anyone either needs help getting started or help along the way don't hesitate to post or PM for hints. I can give people a hand up to level 11 where I am currently working on finding a solution myself.

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

Hi Jed,

Welcome to the site.

I recognized your name from Steeple. Although I never posted there I spent a good amount of time poking around during the Doritos Quest.

As a matter of fact I'd like to thank you for the walk through you posted for the second 3.2 slider. I also saw that retsbob999 signed up here. It was his help that got me through the third one.

I HATED THOSE TEDIOUS SLIDERS. LOL (Thanks for the walk through)

The puzzle above is just the first step or the entry way you might call it. Once you have the correct answer the next level will be revealed. Each level is very different and no one is quite sure how many there are or if there might be a meta puzzle in the end.

It remains a mystery.

Again it is great to have you as a member.

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

I'm glad you found my posts helpful. That was a fun "quest". The final puzzle was a real pain. It cost me a night of sleep and some jeers from my wife. Now that is finished, I was definately looking for something else. The forum helped make that a community effort which in my opinion made the quest more enjoyable. My specialty isn't as much starting out the puzzle, but taking others' ideas and finishing the job. I hope I can do that here.

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

gamepro wrote:Hey Rick,

That was a good hint. are all the answers to the individual puzzles letters? I was pretty certain that the answer to the third puzzle was a number from a sequence. And I guess I should have known 14+3-3 isn't just 14 and 26+0 isn't just 26...

I thought I had them all except the riddle (#2).

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

Below I state exactly how many numbers or letters are in each of the 7 riddles, I don't state what those numbers or letters are.

Highlight below if you want to see it:

riddle 1 (1 letter)
riddle 2 (1 letter)
riddle 3 (4 letters)*
riddle 4 (1 letter)
riddle 5 (1 letter)
riddle 6 (1 letter)
riddle 7 (10 digits)

* riddle 3 was originally posted as 3 letters instead of 4.
Gamepro pointed out the error in the post below but this post is now accurate.
Sorry if I sent anyone on a wild goose chase in the mean time.

Hope this helps.

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

Anne,

Great Job with the hints. Although, I think one of them was a little off. Hightlight to see my correction.

1 (1 letter)
riddle 2 (1 letter)
riddle 3 (3 letters) This one should be 4 letters
riddle 4 (1 letter)
riddle 5 (1 letter)
riddle 6 (1 letter)
riddle 7 (10 digits)

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

Thanks Gamepro, you are absolutely right. I fixed it in my post too.

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

Do the letters actually spell anything out (besides the 4 letter section)?

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

Hello Jed,

The first 6 puzzles/riddles spell out a nine-letter word/name (two words)

I hope this helps out.

Let me know if you need any other help/hints

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

I feel bad bugging anneiam for hints. I am stuck on level 3. I have the key and I thought I knew how to use it, but it's not working out for me. If someone could give me a hint, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

I'm still not getting level 3. I was just wondering if maybe I could get another hint. I thought I knew where to go, but I'm not getting anything that makes any sense. Thank you.

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

Hi Gamepro,

hello everyone else :)!
Myself and a brilliant lady are trying this hunt, currently at level 10. I guess people will be past level 13 in the meanwhile? Is anyone still active here?
RBeal » Sat Jun 27, 2009 10:43 pm

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

axl d -

Who is this brilliant lady of which you speak? I didn't know you were working on this with someone else ;)

Maybe those still working on this can help us get to at least level 13...

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

Oh. Hello Miss Beal!

Uhm..I guess I was caught red-handed.
I don't think you know her though, she lives in the US, her name's Charlea.. ^^

And btw, I could ask YOU a very similar question.. :D

Hm, seems to be quite lifeless in here.
Everyone is in the dungeon of King Salone, of course.

Re: HERE IS THE PUZZLE

Hi RBeal and axl d!

I looked at my notes for level 10 and I wish I could help you guys more, but I only figured out parts of that level. I only figured out the letters part and had an incomplete sentence, but it was enough for me to guess what was being talked about. Feel free to pm me if you would like to know what I came up with. I will be glad to help in any way I can. I'm currently waiting for the puzzle to be switched over to the new server in order to continue. I'm at a standstill at level 15.
